Consider the Works of God
There are many beautiful things made by man throughout the centuries
that have been and are being admired and appreciated, but how often do
people demonstrate the same appreciation for what God has provided?
Let's consider the works of God from a Biblical viewpoint .....
King David was Israel's' greatest king, and he wrote some very
beautiful Psalms such as Psalm 8:3,4: "When I consider the heavens,
the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars which You have
ordained, what is man that you are mindful of him?"
We read in Psalm 33:6 that God spoke and all things were created: "By
the Word of the Lord were the heavens made and all the host of them
(angelic beings) by the breath of His mouth."
Hebrews 1: 1 0 tells us: " And You, Lord, in the beginning have laid
the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of Y our
hands. " John 1:3 states that the Lord Jesus Christ is the
creator of everything in the universe.
In Colossians 1:16 the apostle Paul said regarding Jesus Christ:
"For by Him and for Him all things in heaven and on earth, visible and
invisible, whether they are throne, dominions, or principalities or
powers, they were created by Him and for Him." |
